Core financial support for the work of Young Researchers of Serbia
Since January 2025, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) has been supporting the core activities of the Young Researchers of Serbia (YRS ) in accordance with the Strategic Plan of Young Researchers Serbia 2023-2027.
Strategic objectives of YRS are:
- Volunteering has been recognized as an important tool for community development, and mechanisms and volunteering programs have been set in place throughout Serbia that contribute to strengthening society’s capacities for sustainable development.
- Empowered civil society, with greater influence and competence to take part in the decision-making processes in an informed manner and to implement activities aimed at environmental protection and community development.
- Increased personal responsibility and competences of citizens in relation to the environment as a result of innovative educational programs.
All target groups and end users are defined in the Strategic Plan of Young Researchers of Serbia.
Activities and expected results are defined annually, in accordance with the Strategic Plan of Young Researchers of Serbia.
