Youth Path – From Local Community to the EU

The project aims to test the effectiveness of local initiatives outside their “typical” context. It explores how local changes and initiatives supported through EU programmes can be implemented in the context of island regions and EU Member States.

Young Researchers of Serbia have extensive experience in implementing projects that support informal groups in Serbia. Together with partner organisations from the Canary Islands and the Azores, we will exchange experiences and practices in supporting local initiatives.

Young people who are active in their local communities through supported local initiatives.

The project includes:

  • training for mentors to prepare them to provide support to young people involved in local initiatives;
  • financial and mentoring support for informal groups at the local level;
  • and a youth exchange for young people who have implemented local initiatives.

At the end of the project, a final conference will be organised to present the project results.

The project is funded through the Erasmus+ Programme (Key Action 2) and includes the following partners:

  • Mojo de Caña, Canary Islands
  • PRO ACTIVE Azores, Azores
